PrepmatrixAI is an interview desk. This page covers the Google data the hosted product can see when you sign in or import a resume.

Who we are

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your primary email address and the public profile name and photo attached to that account. We use that to create and recognize your PrepmatrixAI session. We do not read Gmail, Contacts, or Calendar.

Google Drive

Import from Google Drive opens Google’s file picker. You choose one resume. PrepmatrixAI can read only that file, not your whole Drive. We download it so the interview coach can index it as context. We do not list, search, or keep standing access to other Drive files.

What we store

• Account identity from Google or email sign-in (Firebase Authentication).
• Resume files or text you upload or pick, so Job Nexus and Live Interview Coach can use them.
• Session and job-alert settings you save in the desk.
• Interview transcript, question, and answer events needed for the session report and meeting history.
• Practice-session audio recordings only when you explicitly upload a recording.

How live interview data is processed

When you use Live Interview Coach, meeting-tab or microphone audio is streamed to the hosted backend for live transcription. The configured speech provider is Azure Speech. The resulting transcript and generated answers can be stored as session events so the desk can show meeting history and create a session report. Raw live audio is not intentionally written to meeting history.

Resume files and manual context are uploaded to the hosted backend for extraction and indexing. When enabled, the backend also sends that context to OpenAI File Search and uses OpenAI to generate answers. Firebase stores account data and selected metadata, not the full resume text.

Retention and deletion

Context Vault has a delete action that clears the local index and the associated OpenAI vector store. The Help & Support dialog includes a self-service action to delete your saved session history. Uploaded practice recordings remain on service runtime storage until you delete them through the authenticated recording API, an operator removes them, or we process a verified deletion request. We do not sell this data. We do not use Google user data for advertising.

Your choices

You can use local file upload instead of Drive. You can disconnect PrepmatrixAI under Google Account → third-party access. Email arv.boddu@gmail.com to ask for deletion of hosted account data.
